To begin with, we congratulate our proud organization on its first anniversary, and we wish it—and ourselves—continued giving and sustained effort, God willing.
It has been a year full of achievements, successes, and challenges. By the grace of God, through our self-confidence, unity, and firm belief in women’s capabilities, we have crossed boundaries and charted new paths for ourselves and for our organization.
What our country has gone through—and continues to endure—is not easy. We ask God to grant us ease, and we extend our condolences to ourselves and to the organization for the lives lost in these wars, as well as for the loss of important members of our executive office in West Darfur State, El Geneina. We pray that God protects the country and its people from such strife.
To all the women of our country, we affirm that at Women of Change we continue to work toward change, as you have always known us to do. With your support, we will grow even stronger, continue our journey, and what lies ahead will be more hopeful and more beautiful.
