On International African’s Women’s Day , let us all recognize the active role played by women in order to advance their societies and improve their status in all fields.
With violence against women and girls becoming a devastating epidemic in itself, threatening the development of women and girls and their ability to realize their potential, young people must be at the forefront of the fight against gender-based violence and harmful practices.
Women are the main pillar on which our continent is based, and it is not possible to discuss ways of developing it without thinking about how to advance women in it, as it is the most important element in the equation that the continent is trying to solve in order to achieve prosperity, development, stability and peace.
